China is building a forest city to fight air pollution, which has been linked to 1/3 of all deaths in China. The city will have 40,000 trees and 1 million plants which will absorb 10,000 tons of CO2 per year. Vertical forest structures have been built in Italy and Australia, with more planned for Switzerland.
