The UK banned microbeads in cleaning products like face scrubs, shower gels, and toothpastes. Microbeads harm our ocean and suck up toxins like a sponge and poison marine life, ending up in our food. The U.S., Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands have also banned microbeads.
