Martin Shkreli Is Literally Going Insane on Twitter

Martin Shkreli has always had a knack for Twitter, where he frequently trolls his followers and lambastes critics, promotes his rap career, and picks fights with presidential candidates. But even by Shkreli standards, the former pharmaceutical executive's most recent posts have raised eyebrows for their apparent insanity.

It started last week, when Shkreli posted an offer to buy Kanye West's new album for $10 million (he subsequently raised the offer to $15 million).
The outlandish offer inspired numerous news articles — in part because people worried that Shkreli might obtain exclusive ownership of another album, in part because people wondered how Shkreli could afford to spend millions on an album after losing his job as a drug company CEO and facing federal securities fraud charges. (ATTN: also reported that Shkreli allegedly owes $4.6 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS.)
OK, fast-forward to the last 24 hours. Shkreli, presumably trolling for attention, has absolutely lost it on Twitter.
He claimed to have obtained the exclusive Kanye West album.
He briefly weighed in on the Republican presidential debate and said he'd consider running for the presidency in 2020.
Shkreli said he texted "Ye" (i.e. Kanye West) and gave him permission to play only songs from the new album that were reportedly leaked.
And then things got really weird, really fast.
Shkreli went on a Twitter rant about losing $15 million in a bitcoin-related scam.
Disheartened by the apparent loss of $15 million (note: this is Shkreli in prime troll mode), the former hedge fund manager said he "quit rap."
The bitcoin situation was apparently resolved, however.
"I always win," Shkreli said.
Oh, yeah. Then Shkreli said he planned to learn how to speak Mandarin. The utterly incoherent and factually dubious Twitter storm seemed to end on an appropriately out-of-context note.
