President Barack Obama endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Thursday, just hours after meeting Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at the White House.

"I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office," Obama said, according to the Associated Press.

In a video released on YouTube, Obama announced that he would endorse the former secretary of state, and thanked Sen. Bernie Sanders for invigorating Democratic voters in the primary elections across the U.S.
