What We Know About the Orlando Victims So Far

For the first time, Orlando officials are releasing the names of several of the 49 people who were killed early Sunday in the Florida nightclub shooting. Now, survivors of the tragedy at Pulse Orlando are sharing their personal stories of the deadliest shooting in U.S. history on social media.
All 49 names have been released by the City of Orlando.
The Facebook page for Pulse Orlando is now a place for people to talk about the tragedy, including survivors.

Victims left comments under the club's terrifying post as the shooting began at about 2 a.m Sunday.
"Everyone get out of Pulse and keep running," according to the post.
A Facebook user named Ricardo Almodovar said he was inside the club when the shooting started. He ran for his life. After he escaped another survivor offered him a ride home, according to his comment.

"I was there. Shooter opened fire at around 2:00 a.m. People on the dance floor and bar got down on the floor and some of us who were near the bar and back exit managed to go out through the outdoor area and just ran. I am safely home and hoping everyone gets home safely as well."
A Facebook user by the name Chris Jean posted that he ran out the back door to escape the shooting.

"I am okay. I was the boy who first open the door on the left bar where all the go go boys are at so that everybody could run out especially my best friends."
Another user named Justin Barnes said he was in his car when he heard the shots.

One woman with the user name Lilbia Carmen said that she heard the shooting while on the phone with her daughter. Her daughter is alive and apparently had to stay inside the club with the dead until the police released her.

"Nothing yet. My daughter is in there. Please keep praying for them... She's waiting for cops to be able to come out. I was on the pone and all I hear is shot guns."
A Facebook user with the name Martha Bonilla posted that her cousin was shot during the tragedy. She wrote that he is in stable condition and thanked the Facebook group for its support.

Jessenia Marquez posted that her daughter and niece made it out of Pulse Orlando safely but her cousin did not.
